We have started another busy week here at school - time is flying to Easter already! Our Year 3 and 4 children are busy rehearsing for their Spring production, The Button Box. It is lovely to hear them singing in the hall and they are very excited about their parts. We have sent off some fantastic entries into the Royal Mail Christmas postage stamp competition. Fingers crossed for some good news there!

On the good news front, we have recently undergone an independent Safeguarding Audit in school. The report notes that safeguarding at Kingsfield is good with some excellent practice noted. We were praised for being a school which always puts children first and the dedicated work of our Family Care Manager  and the school's Designated Safeguarding Officers has been highlighted throughout. Linked to this we have recently sent out some Acceptable User Agreements for you to take note of and our new E-Safety policy is on the website for you to view. E-safety is becoming ever more important - please do take the the time to read it.

Earlier in the school year, our School Council suggested we plant some bulbs around school to brighten up our grounds. The planters are beginning to look much brighter now thanks to their suggestion. We will also be having repairs done to the block paving at the rear of the school shortly which will also help make things look smarter around school.

Could I also give you a reminder that we have Parents Forum on Thursday - at 9.15am and 6pm. Please do come along - we value your view and support in positively promoting Kingsfield.

Wishing you a very pleasant week,

Mrs Robertson
