MEET OUR GOVERNORS
Julie Robson – Chair
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since June 2007. I have two children, both were educated at the School. My eldest has just finished sixth form and is now at University. My youngest is at the local Secondary School. My background, is in investment banking, including internal audit and corporate compliance. I am the link governor for Governor Training, Staff CPD and the School Website. Also, I am a governor at the local secondary school, where I am the Vice Chair of the Board and Standards Lead.
Philip West - Vice Chair
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since February 2016. Although I was a governor at the School, until 2012, before it became an Academy. I have three children; all were educated at the School. I have worked for 29 years within the Public and Charity sectors and the last 22 years with Cambridgeshire County Council Children, Families and Adult Services. I currently Chair the County Steering Group on Social Pedagogy and I am also one of the County Trainers. I also act as a work place NVQ L3 Assessor for the Children's and Young people's workforce. My professional skills help me in my role as SEND and LAC link governor.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since November 2014. I am currently employed by the Active Learning Trust and my role within the Trust is Director of School Improvement and Development. I am also a qualified teacher.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since June 2015. I have two children, my youngest is at Kingsfield, and my daughter attends the local secondary school. I have a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Sheffield, and a Diploma in Proofreading. Professionally, I worked in London for 10 years analysing and forecasting data relating to the global pharmaceutical industry and I currently perform a similar role on a freelance basis. I am link governor for Pupil Premium and Sports Funding. Also, I am the Standards Lead.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since July 2016. I am currently the Principal of Cromwell Community College. I have a BSc in Psychology and a PGCE. During my teaching career, I have taught Mathematics, Psychology and a little PE.

I have worked for over 20 years for HM Courts and Tribunals Service in various departments including the Family department. I currently work in the post court department. I am link governor for Safeguarding and SMSC.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since January 2017. I have been teaching for 20yrs. I am currently the Early Years Lead here at Kingsfield. I have been a governor in two previous schools and have found that it gives me a greater depth of knowledge as to where the school is now and where we want to be in the future. I look forward to working with the governors and watching the school grow and improve.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since June 2015. I am the Pre-school manager at the School. I have a Foundation degree in Early Years and Education. Since starting at the School, I have been fortunate enough to be involved in promoting and developing the foundation unit, so that the children at Kingsfield have a clear learning journey and a smooth transition into school. The School and Governing Body have supported me to grow as a person and to develop and enhance my skills. As a result, this has helped staff, children, parents and the wider community to work closely together to promote children having a firm foundation to build upon their individual learning throughout their time at the School. As a governor, I am the link governor for Attendance.
I have been a governor at Kingsfield since November 2016. I have three children and the eldest started the school in September 2016. I have an MESci in Geology from the University of Liverpool. This has led me into the field of Contaminated Land Assessment. Currently, I lead a team dealing with undertaking of Demolition and Remediation projects across the UK, which has a particular focus on Health and Safety. My professional skills also help me with my role as Health and Safety link governor.
