Both Pre-school and Reception enjoyed making pancakes in the morning. With a choice of toppings: sugar, sugar and lemon, syrup or honey.
Then in the afternoon they had the opportunity to join in with a pancake race. Not everyone chose to, but those that did were amazing at flipping the pancakes even in the wind!!
A big thank you to all those that donated bricks! The children are having a fantastic time building with them; they even mix their own cement!! (Apologies for the muddy state some of them come home in!!) Donations are still welcome should you have any bricks lying around!
We have been reading the story of the Gingerbread man. The children have loved retelling it and acting it out with masks and puppets. The Gingerbread man also went on a wander and the children had to find him and then describe to an adult where he was. Our favourite activity was definitely making our own Gingerbread men. We kept a close eye on the oven so none of them ran away!
